Compliance

Citrofood’s business is founded on an effective internal control system that allows the company to operate soundly and in line with its corporate objectives, through an appropriate process for managing key risks.

Citrofood has always been committed to acting in full compliance with the values of integrity and transparency, which are at the heart of our company culture and must be known and respected by everyone. Likewise, it is essential for us to share externally the path undertaken by the Company, to show you how we intend to carry out our business activities while continuing to invest in fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.

The Organizational Model and the Code of Ethics—designed to inspire and guide the behavior of Citrofood’s personnel and all our stakeholders—are available to you.

Citrofood has also implemented a reporting system for alerts — including anonymous ones, provided they are sufficiently detailed — regarding unlawful or illegal conduct.

Reports may be submitted in written or oral form, through the channels described in the Company’s Whistleblowing Policy, which are designed to ensure the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity.

All reports will be handled by the Company’s Supervisory Body.

Whistleblowers acting in good faith are protected from any form of discrimination, retaliation, or penalization, and the proper fulfillment of the reporting duty cannot result in disciplinary proceedings or the application of related sanctions.

In any case, the adoption of this system does not preclude the possibility of reporting violations of laws or government regulations to the competent authority.
